In 2014, during his national service in Aramoko town, Edward focused his efforts on a pressing issue at Alamoye Comprehensive High School, where he was assigned as a teacher. The school, along with its surrounding environs, had been without access to potable water for over 40 years, a severe limitation affecting countless generations of students. After months of advocacy and coordination, and just as his service was nearing completion, a local benefactor stepped in to fund the essential water project. Edward managed the project's implementation to its successful conclusion, earning widespread gratitude from both the school and the broader community, and creating a lasting legacy of his dedication.
